Latest Updates from Our Project:

Development In Progress - Project On Track :)
about 4 years ago – Sun, Feb 02, 2020 at 01:55:17 AM

Hello, backers!

We don't have much to report at this time, but we wanted to take a moment to check in and let you know how planning was going. At this point, we feel very good about the project, and don't anticipate any issues with our planned timeline.

We also wanted to update you on a couple of broader policy changes in regards to Wyrmwood Kickstarter projects.

Communication & Updates

Moving forward, we're going to be keeping a rather strict rule for all active Kickstarter campaigns, which will be to send an update on the 1st and 15th of each month, starting today. Most of these will be brief check-ins to let you know whether things are or are not on track, share some photos of work in progress, and just let you know we're all still here.

On inactive projects - ones that have concluded fulfillment, or where it hasn't yet begun (like this one!) - we'll issue updates on just the 1st of the month, as there will naturally be less to discuss, and that information will be less urgent, since shipment isn't ongoing.

Deadlines

Well, that about covers things for now - we look forward to getting all of you your Vaults soon, and we'll keep you updated should anything come up. There was one last policy change, however, that some of you may not be aware of: from this point forward, any order that misses the estimated shipping deadline will come with a $25 Gyft Certificate to WyrmwoodGaming.com, barring anything like a typo in the original date or the like. In short, if we planned it out and promised it, we'll deliver it... or you'll get a bonus for us breaking our word.

As a reminder, fulfillment is set to begin in June and run through September, with pre-orders shipping after the conclusion of Kickstarter fulfillment.

Thank you for your support, and we look forward to getting you your rewards!

Sticker Pack Shipping Update
over 4 years ago – Wed, Dec 11, 2019 at 10:25:16 PM

Hello everyone!

We wanted to issue a very brief update concerning the sticker-only tier on this campaign; it came to our attention that we had an estimated delivery of November; this was an error. We have not locked down surveys as of yet, so we don't have the full address information for everyone in that tier nor final order numbers.

However, we are locking down all surveys on Friday, and at that time we will initiate the address lock down for everyone in the sticker only tier, so that we can begin shipping these out within the next couple of weeks. All backers in this tier should receive their stickers by early January, allowing for some extra transit time due to the holidays.

All other tiers should ship according to their estimates, of course.

Thank you, and apologies for the mix up!

BackerKit Full Details: Survey Out MONDAY (Some Surveys Out Now)
over 4 years ago – Sat, Nov 16, 2019 at 12:00:35 AM

Hey everyone!

We hope everyone has been staying warm out there. Fall is on the way out, and winter is nearly here.

Speaking of things that are nearly here... the BackerKit survey is finally ready to go out!  If you've backed a Wyrmwood project before, you know a lot of what's in the next section, so you may want to skip ahead to the final notes at the end. But if you haven't, or just want a refresher, read on.

BackerKit

BackerKit is a pledge management system.  This allows us to collect great data on all of your pledges, centralizes all of that and organizes it in a way we can use.  In short, it makes things easier for both of us - you get a streamlined way to tell us what you'd like, and we get vital data for use in both fulfillment and production planning.  In addition, if you left anything out of your pledge or miscalculated it, you can address that in BackerKit, as well. :)

To begin the process, you'll get an email inviting you to complete your survey.  When you click the link to begin, you'll confirm your pledge tier and shipping location.  This actually an important area of potential confusion.  Because of the way BackerKit works, for the vast majority of you, your pledge tier will most likely be listed as costing $0.  Don't worry!  You haven't lost your pledge!  This is just a way of tracking your funds correctly.  Your pledge is converted to credit, which you'll apply in the "add-ons" section of the survey, right after you answer any applicable survey questions.

With the questions out of the way, you'll begin the add-on selection.  This is the most important part of the survey.  In this step, you add items to your order just as you would on our website, except that you'll be shopping using the credit you pledged in the campaign.  Shipping will be automatically calculated, too, so once you're done adding the items you pledged for, you'll simply click "next" and confirm your order.  You may be asked additional questions if, for example, you added an engraving to your order.  After that, you'll submit your order and you're done!

But, what if you miscalculated, or just decided you wanted a little more than you thought, or an extra Coffin Vault as a gift?  No problem!  BackerKit makes it easy to add funds, as well - you can just add the items, and enter card information right inside BackerKit to pay for the difference.  These cards will be charged later on (similar to how Kickstarter processes pledges), after we lock down the surveys.  See below for that date.

So, to summarize:

  • Follow the link in the BackerKit invitation email you'll receive on Monday.
  • Confirm or change your reward tier.
  • Answer all applicable survey questions.
  • Select ALL desired items in the "add-ons" section.
  • Verify total and payment details, add funds if necessary, and confirm.
  • Done!

BackerKit Test Surveys

While most BackerKit invitations will go out Monday, a small sample is being sent right now - approximately 5% of backers will receive survey invitations.  This way we can verify that everything is working correctly and make any adjustments that need to be made prior to the full roll out, which will happen on Monday.

The survey will be open for about a month - we'll be locking down orders on December 13th.

We'll follow up on Monday to note that all invitations have been sent, but for now, if you're one of the backers that receives the survey early, please fill it out at your earliest convenience so we can make sure everything is working properly before issuing the rest.

Thank you all for your support, and have a great weekend!

Happy Halloween, and THANK YOU for an Amazing Campaign!
over 4 years ago – Fri, Nov 01, 2019 at 01:35:58 AM

Hey everyone!

Wow. What a ride - you blew away any and all expectations we had for this campaign. Thank you very much for all of your support. We're so thrilled you love the Corrupted Collection as much as we do.

We wanted to take a moment to talk about what comes next.

Funded! Now What?

As we mentioned in our previous update, we will be using BackerKit to manage pledge data  for this campaign. For now, just know that the survey is scheduled to go out on Monday, November 18th. The surveys will be locked down on Friday, December 13th. These dates are subject to change, so keep an eye on future updates as they draw near for final details.

Pre-Orders Open Now

Pre-orders are open for anyone that missed the campaign. They will be filled at the end of the Kickstarter fulfillment, but in all other respects are the same as a pledge, so if anyone you know missed out, direct them right here.

Sources and Inspiration

Well, that about wraps it up! We'd just like to thank you once more for all of your support for this idea. We wanted to talk a bit about the inspiration for it and the process of designing and coming up with it... but, to be honest, it just sort of... came to us.  More than any project to date, we found that everything just seemed obvious - a couple times, more than one team member seemed to have the same idea, and it was like confirming something we already knew rather than incorporating a new idea into the project. And, come to think of it, we're really not sure where the first sketch of the Coffin Vault actually came from. Nobody claimed credit for it - talk about humility, huh?

But I guess that's how it is when you have a good concept and a strong team environment!

Last Words

Anyway, we'll be in touch, and we can't wait for fulfillment down the line. Thanks again for your support. We're going to get some much needed rest. After the bustle of the past couple weeks, a little peace and quiet will be very welcome.

So, for now, we're signing off. And not a moment too soon... seems like there's some kind of commotion outside.  Weird.  I'm sure it's nothing, probably just some kids messing around.  Halloween did just end a few minutes ago... but the weather has been pretty rough tonight.  And getting a lot worse, seems like.  Well, anyway, I suppose I better go check it out and hit the road! :)

I'll be right back.
